Pet Arrival Policy
For the safety of you and your pet as well as other clients, please keep dogs on a leash at all times and properly controlled.
All cats, pocket pets, birds, and reptiles, must be confined in an appropriate carrier. If you do not have a leash or carrier, one will be provided for you.
Late Policy
Due to the high volume of sick pets requiring our services, we are sorry MVC will be unable to see patients that arrive more than 15 minutes late for their appointment. Each MVC client has reserved a specific time for their pet; if late arrivals are seen regardless of time, then other clients who are on time are being asked to wait unfairly.
We understand traffic and other difficulties can sometimes make a client late for their appointment and, time providing, we will try to work you into our schedule; however, this is not always possible.
In the event that we are unable to see your pet, we will work with you to schedule another appointment.
In the event an emergency happens in the clinic we will try to reach you to let you know we are running behind so you will not have to wait unnecessarily.
Cancellations
Should you need to cancel your appointment, please call us 48 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Canceling your appointment on the same day or not keeping your appointment makes this time unavailable for other sick pets that need our help.
This is especially true for new consultations and house calls. All new house call, and in clinic, clients are required to put down a deposit to guarantee their appointment times.
A cancellation fee will apply if house calls are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Please keep this in mind when scheduling and/or canceling appointments.
A $175.00 deposit is required to hold all new client and new consultation appointments. A $45.00 non-refundable fee will be debited once a deposit is completed if the in-clinic appointment is cancelled prior to the appointment scheduled. A $125.00 non-refundable fee will be applied for all house calls cancelled prior to a schedule appointment.
