Delicious & Nutritious Crock Pot Meals For Pets
Pick one or two MEATS for your protein source:
Chicken, Beef, Buffalo, or Fish (Dogs 50% and cats 75%)
Pick up to three VEGGIES
Celery, Green Beans, Swiss Chard, Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Sweet Potato, Turnips, Zucchini, Yams, Carrots, Lentils, Cilantro, Eggplant, Yellow Squash, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Tomatoes, Pumpkin, Cabbage, Spinach, Mushrooms, etc.(Dogs 40-50% and Cats 20-30%)
GRAINS:Barley, Millet, Oats (10-20%) May not be needed depending on each individual case.
HERBS:
Basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, tumeric, ginger, etc.
DO NOT ADD SALT, ONIONS OR GARLIC!
THEY COULD BE TOXIC TO YOUR PET!
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
- Chop Veggies and Meat, add with water to fill crock pot
- With crock pot on low, mix and simmer for 6 to 8 hours
- Serve with a good quality kibble mixture (check with your vet on amounts and brands).

Dr. Jyl’s Pet Pumpkin Pie Muffins Recipe
Yields: 12 MuffinsIngredients:
1 can organic pumpkin filling½ tablespoon organic coconut oil
½ teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 egg
For muffin garnish, choose one of the following:
1 small apple1 small zucchini
¼ cup of blueberries
Recipe:
Mix all ingredients together.Grease side of oven muffin tin or microwavable cupcake holder.
Spoon-in muffin mix.
Sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spike on top of each muffin.
Place garnish on individual muffins.
Cook Time:
12 minutes in microwave.15 – 20 minutes at 350 degree oven temperature.
Let cool and serve.
